Inaugural Network Conference

28-29 January 2005
Hosted by the Said Business School, Oxford

Registration of Interest

On behalf of the programme committee, Gerard Hertig (ETH), Guido Ferrarini (Genova), Colin Mayer (Oxford) and Javier Suarez (CEMFI), I am writing to invite you to express your interest in attending the above inaugural network conference, which will take place at the Said Business School in Oxford on 28-29 January 2005. The conference is the first network activity of the new European Corporate Governance Training Network.

The ECGTN will reduce the European research and training gap in corporate governance by bringing together leading academics and institutions from economics, finance, management, political economy and law in Europe to train doctoral students in conducting world class research in this important area.

The conference is organised jointly by the European Corporate Governance Institute (ECGI), the CEPR, the Oxford Review of Economic Policy (OXREP) and the Said Business School. We are also planning to involve the ECGTN industry nodes of the network.

Travel and accommodation expenses will be covered for all Europe-based members of ECGTN teams and ECGI research members according to the new CEPR travel guidelines. For other members of ECGTN teams and ECGI research members funding might be also available. Please indicate on your reply form whether you will be able to cover your own travel costs, or whether you will require funding from the network budget. If you are a member of an ECGTN team, please indicate on the reply form the name of the team to which you belong.

Registration

To register your interest in attending the Conference, please complete the online reply form as soon as possible.

Financial support is provided by European Community's through the Marie Curie Actions of its Sixth Framework Programme (EC contract number MRTM-CT-2003-504799).
