10 March 2006: Alternative Views of Corporate Governance Conference
The Anglo-Saxon
model of corporate governance is just one view of corporate governance.
Many jurisdictions insure that not only shareholders but also workers
are represented in the governance process. Non Anglo-Saxon views of
corporate governance are reflected in diverging degrees of State intervention.
More generally, smaller firms often provide examples of different
approaches to corporate governance. The purpose of this conference
is to consider such alternative views. |
