Transatlantic Corporate Governance Dialogue
The 2005 Conference took place on Tuesday, 27 September at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, New York City. The twin themes of the Conference were Corporate board elections and internal controls. Transcript of the proceedings are now available on this website.

  Shareholders' right to vote on corporate acquisitions debate
The ECGI hosted a session at the European Financial Markets Convention organised by the Federation of European Securities Exchanges (FESE) earlier this year. The Oxford Union style debate on the motion “This house believes that shareholders should NOT have the right to vote on corporate acquisitions” was defeated by a majority of 62 to 5.   ECGI co-hosts SSRN eLibrary
The Social Science Research Network (SSRN) and the ECGI have entered into an agreement whereby the Institute co-hosts, alongside the Stanford Law School, the SSRN’s worldwide eLibrary.   Working Papers on EU Corporate Law Making
The ECGI has published in its Law Working Paper series a number of papers that are based upon drafts prepared for the EU Corporate Law Making Conference. This conference was organised by Harvard Law School and the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH Zurich) and was held in Cambridge, Mass. in October last year. See:
