ECGI Research Associate (2009) :

Ehud Kamar specializes in corporate and securities law, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. He teaches Business Organizations, Securities Regulation, and Mergers and Acquisitions. He is especially interested in the interplay between law and economics and in empirical study of corporate law.

Professor Kamar has been a professor at University of Southern California, and a visiting professor at Harvard University, the Hebrew University, and New York University. He has practiced law in Israel and New York and has been a J. William Fulbright Scholar. Professor Kamar holds an LL.B. and an LL.M. from the Hebrew University and an LL.M. and a J.S.D. from Columbia University.

His publications include "A Regulatory Competition Theory of Indeterminacy in Corporate Law," "Shareholder Litigation Under Indeterminate Corporate Law," "Price Discrimination in the Market for Corporate Law," "The Myth of State Competition in Corporate Law," "Beyond Competition for Incorporations," and "Going-Private Decisions and the Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002: A Cross-Country Analysis".
