Professor Eilís Ferran is Professor of Company and Securities Law at the University of Cambridge Law Faculty and Centre for Corporate and Commercial Law (3CL). She was previously a Reader and Lecturer in the same Faculty. She has been the Director of the 3CL. She graduated from Cambridge University and qualified as a Solicitor in the City of London. Her publications include: Building an EU Securities Market (Cambridge University Press, 2004); Company Law and Corporate Finance (OUP, 1999); Goodhart and Ferran (eds) Regulating Financial Services and Markets in the 21st Century (Hart Publishing, 2001), and numerous other articles and chapters on company and securities law. She is an editor of the Journal of Corporate Law Studies (Hart Publishing).
