Biography    
Maria-Cristina is researcher at the University of Genoa, Italy. Her areas of research include International Corporate Governance, Executive Remuneration and Banking.

Maria-Cristina holds a Bachelor Degree in Economics, a Masters Degree in International Relations and a PhD in Finance from the University of Iasi, Romania.

She was a research fellow of the European Corporate Governance Training Network (ECGTN). Prior to this she worked in investor relations and corporate communications for several consultancy firms in London and Johannesburg.

Maria-Cristina is author of several papers in the areas of corporate governance and European integration.
