Research Dissemination

Researchers commissioned by the ECGI will be encouraged to submit their research results to scientific journals, acknowledging the support they have received from the Institute. They would also be expected to contribute to the policy debate by, for instance, adapting their research for submission to leading financial newspapers as well as policy-oriented journals such as Economic Policy. Where appropriate, they would also agree to be interviewed by the media and others on their research.

In addition, researchers would be asked to prepare a slide presentation outlining the main results of their work, and to use this at academic and practitioner oriented conferences in Europe and elsewhere.

In turn, the Institute will use its best endeavours to promote the expertise of its researchers and their research output in the financial media and to other interested parties.

In the future, the Institute is hoping to join forces with an international academic book publisher in order to establish a book series based on its research output. It will seek to create a working paper series in conjunction with CEPR and SSRN.
