Directions

The SEC is immediately east of Union Station on Capitol Hill, just beyond the Thurgood Marshall judicial building.  The SEC building is accessible through the Union Station Connector located between Gate L and McDonald’s inside Union Station (metro red line).  It may be convenient to use the connector if traveling by train or metro (red line) to Washington, DC. The SEC building is also accessible through Washington DC's metro system, which is least expensive and easiest way to travel around downtown Washington.  The closest stop to the SEC building is Union Station (Red Line stop).

Please remember to bring your registration confirmation and a photo ID to show to the security guards at the door before you go through the metal detectors.  To reduce your check-in time, you may want to limit the number of bags that you bring, as all bags are subject to search. Security will direct you to go down one flight of stairs to the Auditorium level.
