ECGI use of personal data
It is necessary for the ECGI to process
personal data in the normal and proper conduct of the management
and administration of the Institution. Specifically, personal
data is stored and used interactively to create publicly-available
website pages on the ECGI website such as:
- the ECGI membership Directory;
- research projects and research interests;
- working papers and books.
In addition, personal data is obtained
from those who register to attend ECGI meetings and conferences.
The ECGI holds no financial information on its members. Membership
subscriptions are processed through the secure online payment
processing facilities provided under contract by Ogone.
Any personal data which we collect, record
or use in any way whether it is held on paper, on computer or
other media will have appropriate safeguards applied to it.
